In one word, this film is intense! Matthew McConaughey (and everything else, whatever), will let her snap for air while watching The lost bus. If you are like me, you may even be about to be an attachment. Now that I say it all, I let it sound as if this film is not worth a watch – and that could no longer be away from the truth. You should definitely see this film!
Pour the tea in the lost bus with Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera
The lost bus Dramatizes real events from the Camp Fire 2018 in Paradise, California – one of the most fatal in the history of California. If a school bus driver (played by McConaughey) has to lead a bus full of children and their teacher (America Ferrera) through a running fire, they will stop their breath while they are hit with an obstacle after the other.
It is very well manufactured with almost realistic effects and extraordinary action. Both McConaughey and Ferrera are excellent. I was particularly impressed by her emotional and non -verbal acting. It was their facial expressions in the tense scenes that influenced me the most. Ashlie Atkinson also does a great job as Ruby, the bus depot dispatcher.
It is not all drama and high intensity. Another highlight of the film is that the McConaughys made it a family matter. Matthew’s son Levi gives his acting debut in the film during Real mom Kay Stars also as his mother on the screen. Learn more about how Levi landed the role here.
The lost bus will be on the screen in selected cinemas from September 19 and will stream from Apple TV+ from October 3.
