Capt. Virendra Mishra, an experienced professional and passion singer of dealer Marine, has touched a powerful emotional chord with his latest music video entitled “Dost – Zindagi Doston Ka Naam”. The video, which was released less than a week ago on YouTube, has already reached around 10,000 views and, by the spectators for his warm message and impressive presentation, estimated.

Capt. Mishra based in Navi Mumbai is currently CEO from Ashma Maritime Services PVT. Ltd. His journey from the structured world of the merchant navy to the creative music room is both rare and inspiring. “Dost-Zindagi Doston Ke Naam” emerges according to his melodic vocals, touching texts and a simple but soul-protected education. The audience greeted the authenticity and emotional depth that the video brings on the screen.

The musical path of capt. Mishra reflects devotion and passion. He was a finalist in the Grand Finale of Artium Superstar Season 1, where he appeared in front of iconic judges like Padma Shri Sonu Nigam, Padma Shri Aruna Sairam, Raju Singh, Ananth Vaidyanathan, P. Unnikrishnan and Louis Banks. His pursuit of musical excellence continues when he trains under Shri Anik Thakurta at the Artium Academy in classic Hindustani music and learns tabla from PT. Pratik Joshi. Capt. Mishra has also completed a course in Ghazal Writing from Rekhta Learning.

Started his career in the Merchant Navy in 1989 as a trainee of nautical officer, sailed in various functions and rose to the rank of a captain. In 2007 he moved to land that had joined Essar Shipping as deputy general manager, followed by his tenure as a country manager for the Indian division in the International Bunker Middle East. He now heads Ashma Maritime Services as CEO.
