Hot tip, book a seat at the tables and you may be moved to the yellow brick road during the in advance or actual performance. Some leads give their Zach debut: Moira Poh (Dorothy), Raphe Gilliam (scarecrow) and Elora von Rosch (evil witch). The returning favorite Ryan Everett Wood immediately wins the audience when the cowardly lion and Connor Coughlin as Tin you tap and taps. In the meantime, Gilliam even embodies grace through the awkwardness of the scarecrow.
The aerialist and ensemble member Jenna Napolitano whirls in her debut! Keep an eye out for the Twister. Mariel Ardila is the perfect glinda, and from Rosch an incredible comedic timing brings into her role as a gulch/ wicked witch. Poh delivers an exuberant Dorothy with a beautiful voice. Finally, Munchkins and Ensemble bring the entire performance of color and excitement. Oh, and as always, the musicians never miss a blow on stage.
Here are a few tips. Get to explore the art exhibition in the lobby for 30 minutes and to catch the musical pre-show in the theater. If you bring children, you should aware that the full experience is about three hours. Snacks and drinks can be bought and can be brought to your seats. Zach offers a party package for 25 US dollars in order to be used for a real indoor experience during the entire performance. Western wear and costumes are encouraged.
