Fantastic Fest celebrates the 20th anniversary in 2025 and if they have never been at the festival, they really miss them. We have visited most of these two decades and saw many fantastic things over the years.

3 – 2022 Smile Premiere with Sosie Speck
At the Smile premiere in 2022, the high point of the red carpet was Sosie Bacon for us! Although many may not have known who was before this film, we certainly did it because their last name is quite unforgettable. Yes, she is the daughter of this famous bacon. On the carpet, she explained that she actually lived in Austin for a while, but this was her first time at the festival.
2-2023 Halle Berry one to one
As an Oscar winner Halle Berry came to the festival to go to screening Never let go In 2023 we were able to chat with her and the moment was surreal. She is definitely one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen. This was her first time in Austin and although she noticed how hot it is, she said: “It is amazing to be here. I was a fan of the festival. Many good things came out of this festival.”
